Meet me as an Eastern European, post-Yugoslav, Serbian Roma woman with uncomfortable existence requiring uncomfortable talks in the Balkans on the #intersection of #Roma, #race, #whiteness, #coloniality, #class, #gender, and #green topics.

I identify as an Eastern European, post-Yugoslav, Serbian Roma feminist. For the last twenty years, I am present on the Serbian Roma and feminist scene, and during this time I cooperated with different Roma and feminist organizations.
I hold an MA degree in Philosophy from the Central European University in Budapest, Hungary. My thesis is on dehumanization studies on the intersection of scientific racism, sexism, and speciesism, while my recent focus is on the studies of whiteness in the European context, with an emphasis on Roma positionality. I am the author of the concepts like European Gadjo supremacy, Gadjo privileges, Gadjo fragility, etc.
My BA and MA degrees are acquired at the Department of Adult Education from the Faculty of Philosophy in Belgrade, Serbia.
I am a blogger and an artist writing poetry published in different magazines and anthologies.
“Being a black sheep in a white herd is hard, but I learned it is harder to be who you are not. You need to keep it real to stay human, even though Roma are forced to wear white Gadjo masks to stay alive all the time.”
